Frequently Asked Questions

How does Teamapps pricing work?

Pricing is a simple monthly license fee per editor with volume based tiering. We do not charge for App users, only App editors.

How do we determine the number of licenses we need?

The best starting point is to run an OAuth log search to see how many employees have accessed the AppSheet editor. The number of users that have typically created Apps is ~30% of the total that have accessed the editor. Documentation for this process is available in our support article library.

Do we need to manually determine the number of licenses we need ongoing?

No once the Teamapps account owner has been onboarded, an automation runs the OAuth log search in the background to continually find new editors. This then gives you the information you need to determine how many licenses your team will need ongoing.

How does Teamapps pricing stack up against AppSheet enterprize plus?

Teamapps is a different approach to governance which is based on centralized visibility and monitoring of Apps with a checklist that App creators complete in order to deploy their Apps. It is therefore priced differently which results in a dramatically lower cost.

Can Teamapps be used with AppSheet core licenses?

Yes Teamapps can provide visibility of all Apps and their data sources across the organization even for AppSheet Core plans. This differentiates it from AppSheet Core which currently does not provide such functionality.

What role does Teamapps play with customers using AppSheet enterprise plus?

Many of our customers are AppSheet enterprize plus users. In this scenario the governance teams use the checklist feature to help determine the business context of Apps like the mission criticality of the use cases and sensitivity of the data they are built on. The Discover section is also a source of inspiration and template sharing for App creators across the organization.

What security compliance certification does Teamapps have?

Teamapps has been awarded ISO 27001 2022 certification which is the most rigorous global standard for Information Security Management Systems. For more information see the security page in the footer.

Can Teamapps see the data behind my Apps?

Teamapps can see all of the tables used by an App as they are presented in the AppSheet editor. This includes the type of data source, the data types, table name, headers and more. It cannot however access the data source within the table.

Do you work with partners?

Yes we work with several partners in most major markets. If you require dedicated AppSheet development resources we can also provide referrals to best in class teams across the world.

Will VAT/GST be charged?

Teampps may be required to charge VAT, GST, and other taxes on your subscription in accordance with local laws and regulations. Some jurisdictions do not require VAT/GST to be charged if the purchaser is registered for VAT/GST.
